GEELONG BOXING CLUB UPDATE : MAY 11 2020

May 11, 2020

We hope that you are excited about the potential for us to be given the go ahead to open our doors at Geelong Boxing Club in the next few weeks.

This is something we are taking very seriously and are investing time, energy and resources into ensuring that Geelong Boxing Club will not only comply with all necessary precautions – but that it will remain a place and space safe for all to be unified and uplifted.

We have update policies and procedures in a number of areas and look forward to sharing these with you. We are however conscious of not wanting to overwhelm you and will be releasing information on a need to know basis as we get closer to reopening.

In regards to outdoor boot camps, our experience insists that we acknowledge that running a sub standard version of our programming, in unpredictable weather whilst trying to accommodate all existing and new members in 10 person rotations will be a logistical nightmare and a disservice to you.

We would hate to have to cancel due to bad weather – worse still, we would hate to have you training on slippery, unsafe surfaces.

Controlling quality of programming, delivery and service in our online training hub has been successful and we will continue to deliver live sessions there as well as uploading three workouts a day you can complete on demand, in the comfort of your own home.

We will be running our full timetable in the gym as soon as we are allowed to reopen and have measures in place to ensure we can meet guidelines and requirements.

The Online Training Hub will continue to operate with unlimited access for all members until Stage 3 of the plan outlined by the Prime Minister is implemented.

Over the next few weeks we will share our updated policies and procedures with you and look forward to supporting you in being VERY EXCITED about being back in the gym!!

Much love,

Steve and Lena Moxon
