Member Spotlight: Ollie Pammer-Green
Aug 21, 2019A huge shout out to to Ollie who has lost a significant amount of weight, boosted his level of fitness and is feeling and looking fitter and stronger than ever. His consistency and commitment has certainly paid dividends and we are stoked to know that he is proud of his progress too!
Ollie shares his experience below :
I got started at Geelong Boxing Club because I really loved the idea of having pre planned and coached training sessions. My biggest inhibitor to training previously was getting bored of the same workout.
When I first started training at Geelong Boxing Club - initially I lost 12kgs! I have actually since put 3 kg back on and have noticed that by body has toned up significantly.
My favourite session of the week is definitely the High Voltage Circuit Session on Fridays.
For me it is the most intense session, and always has the best mix of exercises that we havent done throughout the week.
Im motivated to keep training to maintain my current weight and improve my tone and endurance. Steve has always helped with diet pointers and isn’t afraid to call you out when he thinks you’re slacking off or should be lifting more.
Its easy to stay motivated because I look forward to coming into sessions with the same people each week. We are so encouraging of each other and I love not having to think or plan out a super intense workout for myself – they take care of that for me, I just have to show up.
